The DIPP (Department of Industrial Policies and Promotions) and the World Bank- India releases the Ease of Doing Business Rankings every year for every Indian state. The ranking is given by evaluating the reform implementation and reform awareness. The department of Industries was in charge for the retaining the top rank in the EODB ranking of Andhra Pradesh.
Project Brief
To spread awareness of more than 150 reforms in less than 2 months, Facebook and Twitter was chosen. More than 1 lakh industrialists connected to the social media handles of Industries departments. For sector specifics reforms awareness, Facebook ads and Twitter ads were also used. This social media effort helped to create a healthy and dedicated eco-system among industrialists and Industries Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh for effective communication. Andhra Pradesh also bagged the top spot in Ease of Doing Business Ranking in 2018.
