Hungrito, a local food discovery platform that we started in 2016 is turning out to be concrete proof of that. The way it has received immense love from the foodie community of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar is a perfect example of how the right content for the right audience can do wonders.

Our signature hashtag, #Hungrito has proven itself to be a great tool for us to successfully build a community. It certainly has been an accelerator for keeping up with the industry trends, creating relevant content and providing an unparalleled experience to the community we intend to serve.

We have been implementing User-Generated Content (UGC) on our Instagram (@Hungrito). The idea was to make the hashtag a one-stop solution for people to share and explore new dishes and places in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.

As #Hungrito crosses 30k distinct posts on Instagram, I have been looking back on how far we have come as a team and as a community. We at Netsavvies, feel immensely proud and honoured to be entrusted by the foodie community of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.

About Hungrito

Established in 2016, Hungrito is a food discovery platform which has been working on a core belief of our foodie souls, to find the best dishes available around Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Also giving space to foodies to feel understood and share their mutual love for food.

Starting as Bhukkads and then working our way around the obstacles coming our way, we have now gathered a community of 50k+ foodies on our Instagram page. We have also ventured into the events domain with two splendidly well-received editions of Hungrito Food Fest. Here we brought all the best dishes Ahmedabad has to offer, under one roof, combined with fun activities, workshops and live entertainment.

Why Is It a Big Deal?

Without mentioning the local keywords like the name of the city or any major local brand, #Hungrito purely stands upon the trust of the community in the brand because of the value we provide to them. Starting from 0, it stands at over 30k post mentions on Instagram, we take our job (read “our love for food”) even more seriously.

Hungrito was started to solve a specific problem of “What to eat today?”, by the foodie souls here at Netsavvies. Putting out relevant and valuable content consistently has allowed us to help the foodie community in the best ways we know.


What The Future Holds

It’s been over 3 years since we started and now we stand with the strong support of 50k foodies. We have grown from a one-man-show to a team of 11 people. We have grown from just looking for new dishes and sharing them to strategic partnerships and collaborations.

But, we are still the same at the core. Serving the community and providing them value is and will always remain the focus of what Hungrito stands for.

We are just getting started.
