  • Punnami Orvakal was a 3-day tourism festival organised by Andhra Pradesh Tourism at the state's one of the best-kept secrets, Orvakal Rock Garden in Kurnool. The festival took place from 9th June to 11th June, 2017. 9th June was the occasion of Eruvaka Purnima, which is celebrated in many South Indian states, by the farmers to welcome monsoon. The camping festival featured many attractions like adventure sports and live entertainment. Rock climbing, River Crossing, Bungee Trampoline were among the many available adventure sports to choose from. Live performances were a balanced mix bag ranging from classical music and dance, to Rock bands. Artists like Revanth (Then Indian Idol winner and singer of 'Manohari' from Baahubali), Shobana, N C Karunya, Harini, Chammak Chandra and more.

  • Netsavvies leveraged Facebook and Twitter to spread awareness about the event that is in close proximity fro Hyderabad and Bangalore. The youth and working-class people were the ideal target audience for the event. A staggering mix of adventure sports activities and live performances were creating great points of attraction, which were leveraged to send a clear message on the social media. With a streamlined design work and strategically timed posts, the Facebook page was grown from less than 1000 page likes to 10,000. Facebook ads were strategically leveraged for awareness and then re-target people to promote ticket selling. A team from Netsavvies attended the festival and posted live coverage of the activities and performances. An album of about 10 photos were posts from every day's activity along with a recap video highlighting the best moments of the day. Netsavvies was able to generate a great amount of buzz around the event, leading to more people attending the festival, through social media.
